This thursday (29th Oct 2009) will be my last day in Johor. I will be moving to another jobsite, which is in Melaka. I will take a few days off before heading there for another shutdown maintenance work.
Oh ya, I went to Singapore last weekend for the 24th PAUM - NUSS games. There are 7 games in total, namely - Tennis, Table Tennis, Golf, Soccer, Badminton, Bowling and Squash. I played tennis, obviously, and I lost both my matches. I played in the men’s doubles as well as mixed doubles. Although I lost both my matches but it was a fun outing. I love to play in a team event. I like the atmosphere. I shall make-up with my loses in next year games.
This year is coming to an end soon and I have already achieved what I have set to do earlier this year, which was to read at least 3 books by the end of the year. So far I have read 5 books. Happy!

What an exciting end to this year US Open.
I think Del Potro deserved to win the title after his fantastic display against Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer. He is not a new kid on the block that is for sure. Afterall he was the winner of most US hard court titles last year. Too bad RF served badly today. With 5 consecutive US Open titles and losing on the 6th finals, I don’t think it will bothers RF that much. Personally, I believe losing the US Open title is better than losing in the finals of the French Open for RF.
I am glad Cljisters is back in the WTA Tour. WTA Tour really needs a player who plays with her brain rather than just using their sheer power to win matches. It will be interesting to watch her playing against the Williams sisters again in the future.
Congrats again to Del Potro and Clijsters!

It is tiring to drive up and down to KL-Johor. The road seems to be so long and winding and it takes like forever to reach the destination. So long that sometimes it feels like I never will reach the other side..
I just got back from my regular eye check. Everything seems to be ok and surprisingly the optometrist says my left eye sight is getting better. Must be the laser thingy I did last year.
I sent my handphone for repair yesterday. Something wrong with the slide ribbon. Luckily the phone is still under warranty. 3 weeks to repair and so I decided to get a new ‘temporary’ phone.. I bought a basic Nokia phone for RM105. Amazing.. I should have bought this phone instead of an expensive one! I ‘lost’ most of your guys phone nos as it was saved into my phone memory instead of my sim card. I will be able to retrieved it back once I get back my phone. So if your name starts from alphabet M to Z, I currently do not have your no.. Sorry

Sometimes, I wanted to curse you but I don’t have the heart to do so. After all, my existence here is partly because of you. I am still wondering what are your roles before and now that we all are grown ups.
I kept my silence for what I saw back then.
For you, I will not become.

Roger Federer has won his 15th Grand Slam titles in Wimbledon last night. Impressive! The fifth set went all the way to 16-14! I think both players played a very good match. Too bad Roddick came short in the end. RF surpasses the record set by ‘Pistol’ Pete back in 2002. Truely a remarkable feat! Not only he set the new record of having the most Grand Slam titles, he also snatched back the world no 1 ranking from Nadal.
I know some of you might say RF is just ’lucky’ that Nadal didn’t get to defend his title this year in Wimbledon or what if Roddick managed to put in the backhand volley during the 2nd set tie break. Well, lucky is not the word to use here since to win, you need to be fit, you need to have determination and etc.. How do we know that Nadal is going to be in the final? And we are also not sure that RF will be in the final too. Yes, the path might be easier for RF to win but still he has to play for the spot in the final. If it is as easy as just challenging one person for the title, I would be glad to challenge RF! But sadly, the game doesn’t work that way. Only the best will excel in the end and RF proved that yesterday.

Its July! and half of the year has gone just like that. This is the longest outstation I have been since the project in Optimal, Kerteh. I was posted here in Idemitsu SM, Johor right after CNY. Nothing much have changed and I miss my bed back in KL! I think she misses me as well.. Hehee.
Wimbledon final is just around the corner and my bet is on RF as usual.. But tonight he is up against one of my favourite players as well, Tommy Haas. It will be a tough match I guess considering Haas plays almost like RF. Whatever the score will be, RF will win this one for sure. On the other semifinal, I want Roddick to kick Murray’s ass yo! Hahaa..

I was shocked, angered and disbelieve that Michael Jackson has passed away this morning. I am a huge fan of MJ, but then again who doesn’t..
With all his problems for the past few years, I wish that he can bounced back and start making good music. But now, only his legacy will live on.
Me and my bros grew up listening to his music. We tried to moonwalk but we failed miserably, let alone singing to his song. His concerts were always full of energy. I remembered once he used a jetpack and hovered around the stadium. Total awesomeness!
After listening to all his songs in the radio today, I realised that he will be greatly missed by all the people around the world.
I still hope the news is untrue.

I got this pic from my cousin, Ann. I can’t even remember we took this picture back then. Maybe I was too young back then. I believed this picture was taken at my mum’s shop in Miri.
Three of us, with matching pants, our innocent faces and my mum’s orchids, this picture is PRICELESS.
I love my brothers!

I can’t believe I am watching the match that people will be talking for the next 10, 20 or 30 more years to come. Not that I watch it in the stadium itself but, watching Roger Federer wins the French Open title is just unbelieveable! After 4 finals, not only he won the only Grand Slam that eluded him for the past 3 years but he also equal Pete Sampras’ of 14 grand slams titles. Amazing, truly unbelievable!
Now, the question will be whether he can break the 14th Grand Slam mark to further extend his greatness? I think he can and I bet he will!
Congrats Roger! You have completed the career Grand Slam.
